Happy Birthday (tomorrow) to Roger!

Bill held out on me, I found out from Roger (on accident only because I brought up her name) that Shuryl misdialed and talked to Mary recently.

Toni questioned Ashley 2.0 today and asked her if she was from the south.....Does he think that her accent is fake?

Sarah's offering to refill her candy bowl on her desk now with candy and condoms.

One evening we rode the train from Vienna to Salzburg and we stayed in their old town district which I absolutely loved. We indulged in sacher torte at Hotel Sacher on our first night, the next morning we toured an 11th Century Fortress which Toni mentioned that he liked and had been to. I have a feeling that he was intrigued by all of their torture devices that they used in their special torture tower. After buying Toni the additional sex toys that he requested from their gift shop, we went to the Mirabell Palace gardens and found all of the English speaking (at least English singing) people singing their hearts out to everything from "The Sound of Music". Several scenes from the movie were filmed at the gardens so it made perfect sense to me. Don't tell my brother in law but we found the best hard apple cider in Salzburg (my brother in law's makes an awesome one but now his is #2 in my books).

Sarah, you need to bring in more candy, Ashley 1.0 and I took all of the good stuff from your desk.

For our third day in Vienna we went to the summer residence of Prince Eugene of Savoy which has two palaces on the property, the Upper and Lower Belvedere. I'm really not sure why he had two summer palaces but apparently he thought he needed both of them. Both of the palaces have been turned into art modern art museums and I think my husband blushed every time someone (mostly crazy Asians) took pictures of the nether regions of a very large sculpture of a naked woman in the first room. Then from there we had to go to a church to confess all of our sins. Now you know that I'm lying because that's also the same area that I found the Wiener Water drinking station so I would have been back and forth all day with the priest.

What the heck is going on? Why is Kellen being nice to me today, he offered and I let him defrost my mini fridge. Is he trying to make Sarah jealous?

Bill thinks that I'm tagging along with everyone around the office on their vacations. He heard that I was going to Maui next and mentioned that Toni said something last week about maybe going to Maui.

For our second day in Vienna we took the subway to Vienna's busiest attraction, the Schonbunn Palace which was the summer palace of the royalty (their winter palace was in downtown right next to where we stayed). The palace only contains a mere 1,441 rooms and the gardens and property are a massive 435 acres and I swear we walked the whole thing (even though I know that we didn't even come close) because my legs wanted to fall off after we left. The palace grounds have a Palm House (green house~which was the only air conditioned room on our entire trip), Carriage Museum, the world's oldest Zoo and a vineyard.

Roger had another strange one yesterday. The customer couldn't be home when he arrived but their teenage son was home making out with his girlfriend while Roger did his measuring.

Roger told Bill that he needed to hang out with smarter people who could understand his sophisticated jokes.....

Dot is in Australia right now helping with her daughters move which totally explains why Roger drunk dialed all of us last night.

A city full of palaces, cafes, horse drawn carriages and beautiful architecture, Vienna was breathtaking and even better yet it wasn't overly crowded for a larger city. On our first day we explored the Hofburg Palace (some of the rooms along with the treasured jewels (which I plan to steal and wear to work), the Austrian National Library (with books older than Roger, Tim and Michael combined), walked by most of the city which was under renovation and ate pastries outside in the sultry weather.

Tim's stomach looks like he's been very involved with some S&M Group while I've been gone.

Tim and Toni got themselves a free hunting bus from a retirement home....This never ending saga includes multiple hours of pulling off the road stories, gas station debacles, running over a fence at a farm and finally a tow truck (which they should have started with).

I think I disappointed Roger today, he thought I was going to be gone another week.

Tim sent Ashley 1.0 a virus today. I think that's the last time that she does anything for him.

I knew that California has wanted to split into a few separate states but when I landed at Los Angeles on Saturday my phone informed me that I was in Canada. Apparently I haven't been following the news at all lately.

LAX still wins for being the worst airport for terminal transfers.

The first night that we walked around in Vienna I had a lady ask if I could take her picture next to a fountain and she was surprised that I spoke English. It seemed as if only Europeans visited Vienna while we were there.
I loved that Vienna had drinking water refill stations around the city but on our last day I realized that the sign basically said Wiener Water. (Wasser in German is water and Wien is Vienna in German but that's beside the point).

These installers need some geography lessons or maybe just maps in the warehouse... I mentioned to someone this morning that our first stop on our trip is Vienna and I got a "I hear they have some great beaches with crystal clear water there" and it wasn't Kellen this time since he asked me if I saw the Eiffel tower when I was in Italy last year.

Toni said he found some new Japanese porn today Zoro. Apparently he was trying to google Corvette Zora but found porn instead....

I think Sarah was trying to psych me out with her story about not sleeping on a flight to Ireland years ago, she's so sweet.

Don't blame me if you don't like the new toilet paper. Costco shipped the wrong stuff and Typhinee calmed me down when I wanted to cry and said it would be ok. Complain to her if your bum hurts while I'm gone.

Toni you've ruined us, Ashley 2.0 was complaining today that we need Larry at work.

I'm still not going on a cruise....even though it seems to be engraved into everybody's mind that I am.

Roger thinks that I'm going to bring him back a present. I'm not sure what he's going to do when I bring back George Clooney for him.

Sarah had to bring up the awesome pastries that I'm going to see and I want them all right now.

Tim really does think that Michael and I are going to Europe together.

Tim gave me his goodbyes already because he decided that he's not going to be at work tomorrow.

I saw that LAX has a private airport terminal that you can pay to go to that has private TSA lines, private lounge and then you even get chauffeured across the terminal in a private car to your area. The $750.00 fee probably wont sound so bad when we're hiking our luggage two miles through the airport that has no people movers (unless you're fortunate enough like Ashley 1.0 to get a terminal with an outside connecting bus on the tarmac).

Michael tried knocking me on my butt today. Apparently he's trying to wound me so that I'm easier to stalk in Europe.

Oh no Kellen just found out that I buy vitamins from Costco. I have a feeling that I'm going to see his Amway book on my desk tomorrow with the vitamin section highlighted.

Sarah seems to be doing better today her son took the bus this morning.

Since Ashley 1.0 didn't know what a marmot was the other day. I have to share some of my hiking photos from our trip on Sunday to Mt Rainier because the marmots were all over the place.

Apparently this week Bill thinks I'm taking a cruise around Scotland (next week).

Sarah is in a frenzy today, her son went off to high school and he got a ride from a friend instead of waiting for the bus.

I have this feeling that nobody wants to see me this week. Bill left for the week so I won't see him for three weeks, Toni claims he went to jobsites today, Tim left after being at the office twenty minutes and Roger called in sick.
